CN worker killed by derailment identified

The CN worker killed by Wednesday’s derailment in northern BC was a 30-year old from Dawson Creek.

Bryan Giesbrecht was in a remote area nearly 250-kilometres northwest of Fort St. John when a car carrying diesel went off the tracks and crushed him.

It happened during a routine switching of the tank.

Several investigations are now underway.
