Vancouver City Councillor Andrea Reimer is in hospital with a serious infection.
She says in an email response she was admitted to hospital last week.
Reimer did not say what the infection was and neither did fellow Vision Councillor Kerry Jang, “I saw her the other day and she’s on the mend. She asks everybody to just give her some space and thanks everyone for their concern.”
Reimer says she’s recovering, and once out of the hospital, will take more time to fully heal.
