A kitchen fire in Chilliwack has sent a man to hospital and a woman to temporary shelter.
Personnel from two fire halls attended about 6:30 Thursday evening to an alarm in the 46 thousand block First Avenue.
The kitchen was badly damaged by flames and the remainder of the townhouse was hit by smoke.
While considered to be accidental, Chilliwack fire investigators will examine the scene.
