There has been a high-profile defection from the BC Conservatives to the BC Liberals.
John Martin, who ran for the Conservatives in the Chilliwack-Hope byelection that was won by the NDP, has announced he wants the Liberal nomination in Chilliwack.
He’s a criminologist at the University of the Fraser Valley, and says his decision is based on his belief the BC Liberals are the only free enterprise party capable of beating the NDP next May.
