Drug arrest in Saanich

Saanich police say an awkward bulge in a man’s pants led to a drug arrest.
It happened early this morning in the parking lot of a Mac’s store, when police recognized a man who would have been violating curfew conditions.
When police asked for his driver’s license, they noticed a drug pipe protruding from his pants.
The 21-year-old was arrested for breaching conditions, and when searched in cells, police spotted an unusual “bulge” in the man’s boxer shorts.
It turned out to be a prescription bottle full of cocaine and meth.
The man now faces additional drug charges.
