A man in his 80’s is dead after being struck by an S-U-V in Langley. RCMP say the victim was wearing dark clothing and was crossing the road at 203rd Street and 66th Avenue. He suffered massive head injuries and died after arrival at hospital.
Police say the area was poorly lit, the pavement was wet.
They don’t believe alcohol or speed were factors.
