Coquitlam RCMP say an elderly woman is dead after being hit by a vehicle on Austin Avenue between Blue Mountain and Marmont.
Staff Sgt. Dave Stewart says it happened shortly before 12:30 Saturday.
He says the driver has remained on-scene and is cooperating.
