First Nations group goes to court over mine

VANCOUVER – The Tsilhqot’in Nation has asked a court to stop Taseko Mines Ltd. (TSX:TKO) from doing any drilling, excavation, timber clearing, road construction and other exploratory work on its controversial Prosperity mine. The First Nations group has filed a petition in B.C. Supreme Court for judicial review of the provincial approvals for the work.
