Float plane crash kills 1 in Williams Lake

RCMP say a Cessna float plane crashed in Williams Lake yesterday, killing its pilot.

The lone passenger survived, however.

Officials say they got a call around 10 p.m. of an overdue privately owned aircraft.

No names have been released yet and the Transportation Safety Board is investigating.
