Blustery weather conditions aren’t helping fire crews dealing with a blaze near Vernon.
Information Officer Kayla Pepper says more than 60 hectares have been scorched.
Provincial fire crews are assisting the Vernon Fire Department in battling the flames.
Pepper adds there are homes in the area however, there’s no word on possible evacuations.
