Nelson RCMP say a four year old boy is dead following the crash of an all-terrain-vehicle Sunday west of that Kootenay city.
A man was riding with his young stepson when they hit the ditch on a forest service roadway.
The ATV flipped, landing on both of them.
Both were wearing helmets, but the boy was killed and the man suffered serious back injuries.
