More gang activity in the Lower Mainland – this time, a stabbing in Langley.
RCMP Sgt. Peter Thiessen says it happened in the 8200-block of 200 Street just before 6 a.m.
“An adult male, age 37, was suffering from multiple stab wounds. He was inside his vehicle. He was transported to a local area hospital by air ambulance. His injuries at this point appear to be non-life-threatening.”
Thiessen says the victim is very well-known to the police leading investigators to attribute the violence to gang activity.
He says there is no threat to public safety.
