Grow-op busted on North Shore

What started as a domestic dispute call in North Vancouver, has led police to the discovery of a large marijuana grow-op.

RCMP Corporal Richard de Jong says more than 300 plants were found in a garage in the 600-block East 21st Street, “The investigation of production of a controlled substance, and possession of a controlled substance for the purpose of trafficking, is currently being investigated in relation to the residence.”

de Jong couldn’t comment on any arrests or how many people may be involved. However, charges could include production, possession and trafficking.
