The woman accused of killing a young softball coach in a drunk driving crash is expected to enter a guilty plea Friday in Surrey.
Kassandra Kaulius was only a few minutes away from home when her vehicle was struck in May of last year.
It took several months for charges to be approved against suspected drunk driver Natasha Leigh Warren.
Witnesses reported the driver tried to run away and police needed to prove she was responsible for the 22-year-old victim’s death.
In April, the 34-year old Warren was charged with dangerous and impaired driving causing death, as well as failing to remain at the scene.
Court documents show she plans to enter a guilty plea, but it is not known if she’s taking responsibilty for all the charges laid against her.
