High-ranking Hells Angel facing drug charges

The Vice-President of the Kelowna Hells Angels faces charges along with three others after a 20-month investigation  that stretched to Panama and Mexico and also involved a search of five locations in BC.

David Giles was arrested Saturday at a Burnaby casino and is charged with conspiracy to import and traffic 500 kilograms of cocaine, along with three other members of the Hells Angels.

Superintendent Brian Cantera says the investigation dubbed “E-Predicate” resulted in the seizure of four-million-dollars in alleged drug money and weapons.

RCMP say they’ve taken out some of the highest levels of the Hells Angels and anybody involved in organized crime should be worried.
