BC’S new Independent Investigations Office is investigating a late-December arrest involving the Vancouver Police Department.
Officers were trying to subdue a stressed-out, very agressive 26 year old man.
During that attempt, he was injured and taken to hospital.
He’s still there.
11 staff have now been assigned to the case, in part to provide support to that man and his family.
