Inspector joins domestic violence team

An inspector from the Victoria Police Force has joined BC’s new domestic violence office.

Clark Russell will lead coordination and implementation efforts.

He will also be responsible for consulting with academic and community-based service providers.

Two years ago, the officer with 35 years experience helped create the Victoria regional domestic violence unit.

Also in 2010, he was part of a coroner’s review panel, examining 29 deaths involving domestic violence.
