A former BC Lion will spend time behind bars.
Josh Boden has received his sentence for committing two counts of sexual assault, one count of obstructing justice and one count of assaulting a police officer.
The former CFL wide receiver has received a one year sentence, but as he has served six months already, will only spend six further months in jail.
The crimes happened in 2009, as Boden groped a woman on a Skytrain escalator in downtown Vancouver.
It took four police officers, a civilian and a police dog to take Boden down after the assault.
When he is released, Boden will be placed on probation for three years.
