BC Liberals are gathered in Whistler this weekend taking part in the party’s annual convention.
Finance Minister Mike de Jong acknowledges the New Democrats may have a significant lead in the polls but that’s not putting a damper on the party rolling up its sleeves, “The folks here understand that at the end of the day, this is about ensuring we have a relationship with individual British Columbians. It is about ensuring that free enterpriser’s know that ultimately, to be successful, we have to come together.”
More than one-thousand party members have made the trip.
