Man fined in HOV crash that killed two young brothers

The man responsible for an awful highway crash that killed two boys has learned his punishment in court.

Saying the crash was caused by 31-year old Ryan Miller’s “momentary lapse in judgement,” the judge has handed him a 15 hundred dollar fine.

The issue of a driving ban has been left up to the Superintendent of Motor Vehicles.

The sentence comes after Miller pleaded guilty to driving without due care and attention in the crash that killed 9-year old Andrew Moeller and his 6-year old brother Matthew.

Their other brother, Karl, was left paralyzed.

Miller will pay his fine today.
