VANCOUVER – Vancouver Police say a man has been injured in a targeted, early morning shooting.
Const. Lindsey Houghton says the man, in his 30s, was shot in the leg while in an apartment suite not far from Vancouver City Hall.
Investigators say the man is known to them and is not co-operating.
His injury is not considered life-threatening.
Police say the motive for the shooting is unclear and there are no suspects.
A targeted shooting in Surrey, B.C., on Monday night is not linked to gang activity, but gangs have been implicated in two separate fatal attacks in Metro Vancouver that left two men dead and one critically injured earlier this month.
