A warning for the public after a disturbing incident in Burnaby early yesterday morning.
Burnaby RCMP say a woman was sexually assaulted when a man broke into a North West Burnaby home.
They are searching for the man, but only describe him as Caucasian with an average height and weight.
Police are unsure whether the woman knew the man–but say everyone should make sure windows and doors are locked, and be aware of their surroundings.
Burnaby’s serious crimes unit has been called in to investigate.
The woman wasn’t physically injured.
