Man stabbed in neck

A 29-year old man in his hospital with serious injuries following an overnight stabbing.

The call came in about 11:00 p.m.

Police say it happened at a residence in the 55-hundred block of Melbourne Street — that’s near the Vancouver-Burnaby border.

When officers got there, the victim was suffering from stab wounds to the neck.

No motive has been determined — and there are no suspects in custody.

While it’s early in the investigation, police say the attack doesn’t appear to be random.
