A massive fire has left fire crews scrambing to contain flames at a two-storey commericial building in the Mount Pleasant area.
The blaze broke out around 8:00pm Friday at the corner of Broadway and Brunswick Street.
The building houses a Vietnamese restaurant and supermarket.
The fire grew to three-alarms, with flames clearly visible through the building’s roof.
Power has also been affected in the area, with about 1,600 B.C. Hydro customers without electricity.
No injuries have been reported.
