Minor league hockey coach to apologize two tripped players

Martin Tremblay has missed his second straight court appearance.

The minor league hockey coach has been charged with two counts of assault after he tripped two players on the opposing team.

It was caught on tape, and after being uploaded to YouTube, has been watched more than two million times.

Tremblay’s lawyer, Bob Bellows, says his client plans to reach out to the two players.

“Mr. Tremblay feels terrible about what happened. He will be apologizing personally by letter to the two boys.”

According to Bellows, Tremblay is out of town.

He is set to next appear in court Oct. 25.
