Mitchell’s hit list covered most of Metro Vancouver

The integrated homicide unit has released more details about a hit list found in Angus Mitchell’s car after he was killed in a police shootout last week in Maple Ridge.

Sgt. Jennifer Pound says the hit list covers a number of people and businesses across Metro Vancouver.

“We are looking at Burnaby, Vancouver, New West, Coquitlam, Port Coquitlam, Surrey, and White Rock as the jurisdictions on his list.”

Pound says while two people were killed at a Burnaby sushi house last week, the potential of more victims, if Mitchell hadn’t died, was significant.

“Some of them are large businesses where a high number of people frequented, so the potential for a number of fatalities was clear here.”

She says Mitchell’s potential victims are shocked after being informed they were on his hit list.
