It didn’t take long for the gloves to come off as the BC Legislature got back to work following a two week break today.
It started during a debate over Smart Meters when Burnaby-Lougheed MLA Harry Bloy suddenly accused NDP leader Adrian Dix of fraud and stealing from the public–but he didn’t stop there.
“……..I wonder how he proposed to his wife? Is he like his good friend Svend Robinson?”
Bloy had to withdraw the remark and later apologized in a media scrum.
“……..in the heat of debate, many things are said.”
But NDP house leader John Horgan says Bloy’s attack is right out of the BC Liberals’ playbook.
“……Smear the NDP–it’s outrageous, the guy needs at a minimum to apologize, and if i were a BC Liberal, I would not wanna sit beside him.”
