Liberal MLA Harry Bloy personally apologized to NDP leader Adrian Dix today after calling him a fraud and thief in the Legislature on monday.
And Dix told the Legislature it’s time to move on.
“…….he spoke with great sincerity I think in apology and I wanted to say for me the matter is closed, I accept his apology, and I wanna say that all members of the house, and certainly him, that (we’ll) continue to work together, we’re gonna disagree all the time, all the time, and that’s part of democracy and it’s a good thing, but that we can work together to do what we wanna do, which is serve our constituents and serve the people of BC so I thank him for his apology.”
Dix later admitted to reporters he was angry that Bloy went so far as to question how he proposed to his wife, even raising the issue of Svend Robinson’s theft of a valuable ring.
