More than 100 thousand sign up for Port Mann bridge deals

More than 100-thousand drivers have pre-registered for the decal giving them cheaper access to the Port Mann Bridge, when tolls take effect in a couple months.

Close to twenty thousand users signed up on the first day in September and little more than three weeks later, that number has quintupled.

“We now have more than 100-thousand drivers that have signed up for a TREO account and a free TREO windshield decal.”

Max Logan with the Transportation Investment Corporation says the incentive is clear.

“Anyone who signs up by November 30th, in addition to locking in the low introductory rate for the full first year, will also get a 30 dollar credit on their account and that means 20 free trips.”

Drivers who don’t sign up by the end of february will have to pay the full three-dollar toll starting March 1st.
