The annual Miracle Weekend telethon has raised nearly $ 18 million for B.C. Children’s Hospital.
Spokesperson Stephen Forgach says it’s the highest total ever.
“We beat last year’s total – and when you get up to raising this much money, it’s always hard to push it much higher, but the community comes through for us year after year.”
It’s the telethon’s 25th anniversary this year.
