Never too early to start an election campaign

Premier Christy Clark has launched an unofficial election campaign with a year to go before polling day.

In a speech that had all the usual highlights and slogans, Clark focused on ramping up the faithful, “We have a year until the next election. And a year from now, I’ll tell you what I plan to be doing. I plan to be leading a Government that is starting a new term in office with a renewed mandate.”

Clark said Opposition Leader Adrian Dix is a doctor trying to cure a disease that doesn’t exist, referencing the Dutch Disease.

Clark also referenced the LA Kings as an example of a team that overcame the odds, an example for the Liberals.
