A new special prosecutor has been appointed to oversee the investigation into possible criminal activity in the polygamous community of Bountiful.
Peter Wilson will take on the role, after Richard Peck resigned from the post last month.
Peck is now representing former RCMP chief superintendent Gary Bass at the Missing Womens’ Inquiry.
Wilson previously served as special prosecutor looking into possible campaign irregularities in the case of former solicitor general Kash Heed.
He cleared heed of any wrong-doing in the 2009 election campaign.
