Next witness at missing women inquiry

An RCMP officer who investigated serial killer Robert Pickton in 1998 is the next witness at the missing women inquiry.
Former corporal Mike Connor was working with Vancouver Police on the file long before Pickton was arrested in February of 2002.
He’s expected to give commissioner Wally Oppal more details about the RCMP’s attempts to find solid evidence against the wealthy Port Coquitlam farmer, who’s family was associated with the Hells Angels.
The inquiry’s already heard Pickton was a prime suspect by the summer of 1998, but his farm was not formally searched before his arrest.
Pickton is now serving a life sentence for the murders of six women.
He’s suspected of killing close to 50.
