One New Democrat MP says he thinks the 2015 Federal Election will be between the NDP and the Conservatives regardless of who is heading the Liberal Party.
This, after Justin Trudeau made it official that he is running for the leadership of the Federal Liberals.
Burnaby-Douglas MP Kennedy Stewart was asked whether he thinks any of the gains made by the NDP in 2011 could potentially be threatened by having Trudeau as leader of the Liberals, “Just speaking from a British Columbia perspective, I don’t know how popular any Liberal leadership candidates would be. You know, it’s not something I really see in my riding or that you see in ridings around British Columbia.”
The Liberals won just 34 seats in the last Federal election. the NDP became the official Opposition.
