One of the region’s ten most wanted car thieves won’t be getting behind the wheel again for a while. Thirty-four year old Kevin Michael Beech was busted last night in Surrey. Police had been scouting areas he was known to frequent when he and two other people were spotted in a vehicle. Police say when officers stopped the vehicle, Beech tried to run off, but was tracked down and arrested about 7 pm. He had dyed his hair after his picture was released last week on the ten most wanted list, but that didn’t work. He was wanted by Richmond and Langley RCMP and is the first on the list to be arrested.
