One of the Liberal MLA’s who has been among those unhappy with the way the party is going will not be in todays caucus meeting or at tomorrow’s budget vote.
Kash Heed says he has family matters to deal with this week and won’t be in Victoria even though his party faces a confidence vote tomorrow.
The second ready of the budget will be voted on and the Liberals hold only a five seat edge over the NDP and independents.
“Well certainly the whip was aware I was not going to be there so if they have made their arrangements to have sufficient numbers there for the vote you know that is his job but he did know I was not going to be in attendance in Victoria this week.”
Heed says his opinion of various matters is quite clear and he doesn’t need to be in caucus to air them to the Premier and party.
