The Fraser River continues to rise.
Now Langley Township and Abbotsford residents living in unprotected areas have been placed on evacation alert.
That means people living in the Glen Valley area need to be ready to evacuate on short notice.
The Glen Valley flood plain area is not protected by dykes.
Residents in unprotected areas of northwest Langley, Brae Island, and McMillan Island were also put on alert.
