A proposed expansion to Kinder Morgan’s Transmountain Pipeline will be the focus of a meeting Wednesday night in Abbotsford.
Organizer Sheila Muxlow says the grass roots gathering is really the first chance for residents to voice their concerns over the plan, “This is really just a first step in making people aware and allowing folks to come together to be able to confidently speak out against this project; or to speak to this project at least, with the concerns that they might have.”
The pipeline runs from Edmonton through to Metro Vancouver.
