The driver accused of killing a toddler with his truck nearly three years ago in downtown Vancouver is expected to enter a guilty plea Monday.
In August of 2009, the two-year old girl and her mother were hit by a flatbed truck, while they were crossing Expo Boulevard at Abbott Street.
The child – who was in a stroller – died at the scene and the mother suffered serious injuries.
One year later, the Coquitlam driver of the truck – William Mah – was charged with dangerous driving causing death and dangerous driving causing bodily harm.
The 45-year old is expected to enter a guilty plea in Provincial Court.
