Police believe more victims could be out there, after sex assault charges laid

Mounties fear other victims could be out there.

The RCMP has charged a 43-year-old man with nine additional counts of sexual assault, including interference and voyeurism.

James Osell is already suspected in a child-porn bust after an arrest and seizure at his Chilliwack home back in April.

“Since that time, the items that were seized at his residence were examined and further investigated by police and that’s when we discovered more evidence about more offences and that’s what led us to have these nine additional counts approved against him.”

And in a case like this, Cpl. Matt Van Laer says there’s always a chance other sex assaults have gone unreported allegedly committed by this man.

Anyone with such information is asked to contact their local police department.
