Vancouver Police are investigating a possible hate crime after a violent assault.
A south asian security guard was repeatedly beaten and hit with the suspect’s knee.
He spent a day in hospital recovering from head injuries.
Constable Jana McGuinness says this was an extremely violent assault and comments were made during the attack that led police to refer the case to the hate crimes unit.
