At least one person has been killed after a crash near Hope.
RCMP Sergeant Peter Thiessen says the pos- crash fire was so intense, police can’t tell if there was more than one person in the vehicle.
“If anyone has an overdue traveller that would’ve been heading south on the Coquihalla Highway, operating a 2011 or 2012 Ford pick-up truck, we ask them to call Fraser Valley traffic services.”
The crash happened just after 5:30 a.m.
The driver lost control in a curve and hit a pillar for the Shylock Overpass.
Police say weather and road conditions do not appear to be factors.
