Surrey RCMP are looking for a suspect after a woman was sexually assaulted yesterday.
Police say the 42-year-old victim was at her car after leaving work at Central City Mall about 5:30 p.m.
A man came up from behind and wrapped his arms around her, and covered her mouth. He pushed her face-first into her car and tried to take off her clothes, and then sexually assaulted her.
The woman managed to break loose and the suspect ran when she screamed.
He is described as white, about 5-feet-8-inches tall with an average build. He’s in his mid-to-late twenties, unshaven, and was wearing blue jeans, running shoes, and a green hoodie with “Canada” on the back.
The woman was not hurt.
