Homicide investigators are still trying to identify a body found badly decomposed in North Vancouver last month on a hiking trail.
The remains were found behind a Denny’s restaurant on Curling Road in mid-August.
Police have now released a coroner’s sketch of what they think the female victim might have looked like.
“We also know that she had very thick, very beautiful hair in fact. It was very wavy, very dark colour, almost with a bluish sheen to it.”
Sergeant Jennifer Pound with IHIT says the woman appears to have broken her back some time ago, and had to wear a brace for it.
She adds the victim had fillings on three of her front teeth and wore clothes that likely came from Europe.
Police so far have no suspects.
