Post hockey game violence nothing new for this guy: VPD

Vancouver Police have tracked down another suspected Stanley Cup rioter… and this one is also wanted in Alberta for causing a disturbance after a Calgary Flames game in 2004.

38-year old Andrew Comber of Salmon Arm faces charges in Alberta of assaulting a peace officer, resisting arrest and mischief, among other things.

He’s being flown back to Calgary to answer to those charges.

After he’s done there, police say he’ll appear in court in Vancouver, where he’s charged with participating in a riot, mischief and arson.

Comber’s accused of lighting a stuffed toy on fire last June 15th and tossing on an overturned truck on West Georgia Street.

Police claim he was also seen in multiple locations of the downtown core taunting their officers.
