Premier Christy Clark is urging the media to respect the privacy of the person involved in the incident that lead to the resigation of Ken Boessenkool as her chief of staff.
Clark told reporters today that person has done nothing wrong.
“I certainly hope that in the course of this public dialogue that we’re now having that no one who has done nothing, people who have done nothing wrong are not hurt. That has been a really central part of my mission in trying to bring this to a conclusion.”
Meanwhile, Clark defends her handling of the issue saying she has followed all proper procedures.
Asked why Boessenkool was not suspended while an investigation was underway over the last two weeks, Clark said an employer has to gather the facts before making a decision.
