Premier faces another challenge

Yesterday it was an emergency cabinet meeting.

Today Premier Christy Clark will face her full Liberal caucus at the Legislature in Victoria, including some unhappy backbenchers.
She may have a fully united cabinet after Sunday’s emergency meeting, but several backbenchers have let it be known they are not happy with Clark’s response to the ethnic outreach scandal, and her failure to return to Victoria to issue a personal apology last week.

Maverick MLA Kash Heed says he spoke with four caucus colleagues over the weekend to hash out a plan but would not say what they’ll actually do in today’s meeting beyond voicing their concerns.

The daily caucus meeting normally starts at 1:00.

Today’s has been moved up to noon.
