BC Ferries is confirming the Queen of Oak Bay will be back in service Sunday morning, two days after one of its engines died while heading into Horseshoe Bay.
Spokesperson Deb Marshall says the ship went through a series of “sea trials” Saturday afternoon.
“The captain wanted to put the ship through its paces, and they were out for about two-and-a-half hours, just to make sure that the repairs they made to the engine were successful.”
With the repairs complete, Marshall says all sailings will be back to normal.
