A seventeen-year-old boy is in stable condition after being stabbed in the stomach Friday night in Surrey.
RCMP say details are fuzzy, but the boy claims he was walking home somewhere around 134th Street and 69th Avenue when he was punched from behind, then stabbed.
They say the boy’s friend called emergency crews to his home where the boy was taken to hospital.
Police say the boy gave a description of a forty to fifty year old man, Caucasian, 5’1”, with a chubby build.
They say it’s unclear where the attack actually happened, and whether there was a motive.
