A new report is suggesting young families are starting to drive demand for recreational property in B.C.
The “REMAX Recreational Property Report” points to greater affordability and strong consumer confidence.
Elton Ash is REMAX’s regional executive vice-president.
“Overall the demand has stayed steady, unit sales are up but prices are down… so it’s a mixed picture… and it’s really being affected to a large part by the sunshine states in the United States.”
Most regions across the province are showing an increase in sales from last year.
Average prices in B.C. still far outweigh those from across the country.
